ユタ大学
ユタ大学は、西部ミシシッピー川以西で一番歴史のある国際的に認知された総合研究大学です。ユタ大学は、総合研究大学としては、全米35位にランキングされています。全米科学財団は、ユタ大学を、マサチューセッツ工科大学とスタンフォード大学と同等の評価をしています。ユタ大学では、ユタ州の学生を中心に、50州と70カ国から学生が集まっており民族的多様性を持っています。留学生に対して、フレンドリーな受入れや留学生が必要とするものをよく理解しています。 学生は、2002年冬季オリンピックで建設された２つの大学寮コンプレックスで、学生生活を満喫しています。ダイニングホール、コンビニエンスストア、フィットネス･ゲームルーム、コンピューター室などを有す全米でも恵まれた滞在施設があります。キャンパス内には、水泳、テニス、ゴルフ、音楽・舞台芸術、図書館や博物館があります。また、アメリカンフットボール、野球、バスケットボールなどの体育会系団体や、200を越える学生団体がありますので、毎日飽きることがありません。

英語集中プログラム
英語集中プログラムは、留学生が、大学で学部履修するのに必要な英語力を高めるための授業を1学期8週間で、週20時間おこなっています。レベル1から7（ブリッジプログラム）にクラスわけされ、英語力に合わせた、授業を受けることができます。1クラスは、10～15名で、きめ細かな指導を受けることができます。
キャンパス
ユタ大学の1,500エーカーの広大なキャンパスは、ソルトレーク市郊外に位置しており、とても、安全で、美しいキャンパスです。広大なキャンパス内は、キャンパスシャトルが運行されています。また、公共交通機関も発達しており、バスや市電が運行されており、ユタ大学生は、無料で利用できます。キャンパスには、31の建物があります。
街の様子
ユタ大学は、2002年冬季オリンピックが開催されたソルトレークシティに位置しています。同市は、全米で最も安全な都市として、FBIからの統計で証明されています。文化的にも高い評価を受けており、交響楽団、舞台芸術、演劇が鑑賞できます。また、スポーツも盛んで、ホッケー、サッカー、野球とバスケットボールのプロフェッショナルチームがあります。冬は、同市から車で1時間以内の場所に全米でも有名なスキー場が9ヵ所あります。また、キャンプ、フィッシング、バックパッキング、川下りなどアウトドア活動も盛んです。5ヵ所の国立公園、７ヵ所の記念碑、2ヵ所の国立レクリエーション施設が同市周辺にあります。 ユタ大学には、アウトドアプログラムがあり、各種活動に参加することができます。
